Iraq registers a 3.6-magnitude earthquake in Kalar district

In Sulaymaniyah, in Iraq an earthquake was recorded 10 km southwest of Kalar district on Friday, according to Iraqi officials. The Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology said in a statement that its seismic observatories recorded an earthquake in Sulaymaniyah Governorate at exactly 3:58 am local time, and its magnitude reached 3.6.
